Trinity Collegiate Baseball Program Spreads Holiday Cheer Through Christmas Toy Drive
Darlington, S.C. — The Trinity Collegiate baseball program demonstrated the true spirit of the holiday season by hosting a Christmas Toy Drive in support of the McLeod Children's Hospital Fund, bringing smiles and hope to children and families in need.
More than 20 Trinity Collegiate baseball players participated in the initiative, donating over 40 Christmas presents to benefit patients at McLeod Children's Hospital. The gifts will help brighten the holidays for children receiving care during the Christmas season.
"This toy drive is a reflection of the character and generosity of our student-athletes," said Associate Athletic Director Colin Renner. "We are proud of our players for stepping up and giving back to our community, especially to an organization that has such a meaningful impact on children and families."
The Trinity Collegiate baseball program places a strong emphasis on service and leadership beyond the field, and the annual holiday season provides an opportunity for players to make a positive difference off the diamond.
Trinity Collegiate would like to thank everyone who supported the toy drive and helped make this effort a success. The program is honored to partner with the McLeod Children's Hospital Fund and contribute to spreading joy during the Christmas season.
