Titans Fall Just Short in Home Opener

Darlington, SC- Senior Gavin Holt (Florence, SC/Florence Christian School) allowed just one run over six innings of work, but the Titans would ultimately fall just short to Cardinal Newman, losing by a score of 3-2. Down to their final out and trailing 3-0, the Titans loaded the bases for Senior Catcher Davidson Lynch (Florence, SC/All Saints Episcopal Day School). With one swing of the bat, he appeared to tie the game, before the officials walked the tying run back due to a throwing error and the ball going out of play. The Titans would then ground out to end the day. Trinity will be back in action on Saturday, February 28th as they travel to McBee High School to face off with Central High School from Pageland in the opening round of the McBee tournament. First pitch is scheduled for 1:30 PM.
