Bio

Chad Hayes hails from Dillon, SC, where he distinguished himself as a Varsity
athlete in football, tennis, and track, earning the honor of "Most Athletic" in his senior
class. He continued his football career at Presbyterian College, where he obtained a
Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

After college, he relocated to Charleston, embarking on a professional journey as a
state biologist and captain. Following a successful stint as the owner of the Kiawah
Charter Company, which served clientele and guests of the Sanctuary Hotel on Kiawah
Island, he transitioned into education and coaching. His coaching career includes
tenures at renowned programs such as Summerville and Goose Creek high schools, as
well as Charleston Collegiate School, while he also pursued his Master's degree from The
Citadel.

Most recently, Hayes taught Biology and coached the offensive linemen at
Mullins High School. A dedicated learner of the game, he has experience coaching
multiple positions but particularly excels in training linemen. He resides in West
Florence and is the proud father of one son, Levi. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys
saltwater fishing, bowhunting for whitetail deer, and bird hunting with his Drahthaar,
Duke.
