Bio
Artie Buxton enters his fourth year at Trinity Collegiate School, bringing an impressive 52 years of coaching experience to the Titans’ athletic program. Over the course of his career, Buxton has coached in four different baseball leagues and at four different schools, guiding student-athletes across multiple sports.
A native of Florence, South Carolina, Buxton attended Limestone College, where he competed in baseball and earned All-Region honors in 1974. His decades of coaching have included extensive work in track and field as an assistant coach, as well as leadership in youth and school-based baseball programs.
Buxton finds his greatest joy in “watching kids grow and mature into productive members of society,” a philosophy that has guided his approach to mentoring athletes for more than five decades.
He is married and the proud father of two children.
