Titans Outlast Lancers in McBee

McBee, SC- The Trinity Collegiate Varsity Boys' Basketball team overcame a late opponent switch and outlasted Legion Collegiate, 54-49 on day one of the McBee Tournament. The Titan's originally scheduled opponent, Westminster Catawba Christian, had to drop out due to illness. Senior Jy'ell Preston (Darlington, SC/Darlington Middle School) lead the Titans with 22 while Sophomore Swisher Boggess (Morgantown, WV/University High School) added 10 points and a team-high five rebounds to helped lead the Titans to victory. Trinity is back in action tomorrow evening as they return to McBee for day two of the tournament. They will play Georgetown High School with tip-off scheduled for 8:30 PM.
