Varsity Girls' Hold Off Wolves
Darlington, SC- On a night where the Titans' celebrated several milestone achievements, the Trinity Collegiate varsity girls' basketball program held off a game effort by the Virtus Academy Wolves, 58-48. Prior to tip-off, the 2024-2025 SCISA 4A State Championship banner was unveiled and the girls' were presented with their rings. The next milestone came during the game as senior Autumn Kind (Hartsville, SC/Hartsville High School) recorded the 1,000th point of her storied high school career. Her stellar play helped rally the Titans, who trailed 13-16 after a quarter. The Titans were able to rally and take a seven point lead into the halftime break, but Virtus would continue to battle, trailing by only five after three quarters. The Titans finished strong, however, and took home a ten-point victory. The Titans will be back in action on Friday, December 19th as they head to play Saint Mary's Ryken in the Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach.
