Titans Top Vikings In Road Opener

Columbia, SC- The Titans Varsity Girls' Lacrosse Team defeated the Spring Valley Vikings by a score of 7-6, capping a thrilling 4th quarter comeback. Junior Anne Evans Scott (Florence, SC/All Saints Episcopal Day School) led the Titans with five points, scoring three goals and dishing out two assists. Senior Izzy Moore (Hartsville, SC/Hartsville Middle School) chipped in four points with two goals and two assists. Junior Dawsey Kirven (Florence, SC/All Saints Epsicopal Day School) and Freshman Ella Watkins (Hartsville, SC/North Hartsville Elementary) both scored goals to cap the scoring for the Titans. It was the first career goal for Watkins. Senior Goalie Mallory Wright (Darlington, SC/Emmanuel Christian School) had ten saves on the night. The Titans will be back in action on Friday, February 27th as they play head back to Columbia to face off with Heathwood Hall. Start time is set for 5:00 PM.
