During his time on staff, Coker produced six NCAA national qualifiers, five All-Conference selections, one NCAA Super Region II Champion, and seven National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-Americans while posting a 3.65 team grade point average.
As a student-athlete, Parland competed for Coker from 2013-2017 and finished his career ranked third in program history with 51 career victories. His 22-win season during the 2014-15 campaign remains tied for seventh on Coker's all-time single-season wins list.
