Strong Showing Lifts Titans to 3rd Place at Wilson Hall
Sumter, SC- The Trinity Collegiate girls' track & field team had several standout performances on Thursday evening at the Wilson Hall Meet #4, lifing the Titans to a 3rd place finish amongst a deep field of teams.
Riley Flowers hit a high school state championship qualifying mark to win the javelin while Mary Tiller Rabon (800 meters) and Clara Willcox (Long Jump and 800 meters) both hit regional qualifying marks as well.
The following Titans put up top five marks in the meet:
- Riley Flowers (Javelin, 1st)
- Crai'anna Waiters (Long Jump, 1st)
- 4x100 meter relay, 2nd
- Claire Brown (Javelin, 3rd)
- Morgan Johnson (Shot Put, 3rd)
- Jubilee Lei (1600 meters, 3rd)
- Gia Hieshetter (Long Jump, 5th)
- Kloee Wilson (100 meters, 5th)
Trinity will be back in action next Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday, March 31st the middle school athletes will head to Wilson Hall to compete for the SCISA Middle School State Championship while the high school athletes will head to Sumter on Wednesday, April 1st to compete in the Wilson Hall Meet #5. Start time for both meets is set for 4:00 PM.
