Titans Prevail Over Lions in 5 Sets
Florence, S.C.-The Titans opened their season on the road with a thrilling five-set victory over The King's Academy. After falling behind two sets to one, Trinity stormed back with a gritty performance to claim the final two sets and secure the win.
The match began with an electrifying first set that went into extra points before the Titans pulled out a 30–28 triumph. The Lions responded by edging Trinity 25–23 in the second set and carrying momentum into the third, where they won 25–19 to take a 2–1 match lead.
Facing elimination, the Titans dug deep in the fourth set, finding their rhythm and seizing control with a 25–18 win to even the score at two sets apiece. In the decisive fifth set, Trinity delivered in the clutch, outlasting King's 15–12 to seal the comeback victory and improve to 1–0 on the season.
The Titans return to action tomorrow for their home opener, hosting Heathwood Hall at 6:00 PM.
