Titans Survive Cavalier Rally on Senior Night

Darlington, SC- After taking the first two sets, the Trinity Collegiate Varsity Team survived a rally by the Cavaliers of Lee Academy to prevail on senior night, three sets to two. After taking the first set 25-15, the Titans would pull out a close second set, 25-23, to stretch their lead to two games to none. The Cavaliers would dominate in set three to take a 25-13 victory. Set four was a close affair, but ultimately lee prevailed 25-21. In set five, the Titans would rally from a four point deficit to pull out a 15-13 victory to win the match. 

In a ceremony before the game, the Titans honored their three seniors, Julia Cates, Madeleine Powell, and Mallory Wright.

Trinity returns to action in Sonoco Gymnasium on Tuesday, October 7th. The Titans welcome John Paul II to town to resume region play in a match slated to start at 6 PM.
