B-Team Volleyball Opens Season With A Sweep
Columbia, S.C.- The Trinity Collegiate B-Team Volleyball season got off to a successful start on Thursday evening as the Titans swept a tri-match vs. Timmerman School and Calhoun Academy.
In the opening match, Timmerman won the first set by a narrow 26-24 margin, the Titans would then respond by taking the second set 25-20 before prevailing in the decisive third set by a 15-11 margin.
The Titans would then get right back on the court to face off against Calhoun Academy. After a close first set that ended with a 25-20 margin in favor of the Titans, Trinity would dominate the second set, 25-5, to end the match and clinch a 2-0 evening.
The B-Team Titans are right back in action next Monday, September 8th as they travel to Wilson Hall to square off against the 8th grade team of the host Barons along with The King's Academy in another tri-match. Start time is scheduled for 5 PM.
